28

How I spent my HOT birthday weekend: my friend C. came by and we had nice food and long chats. After a short trip to the supermarket, we had to lay in the bedroom with airconditioning to recover! In the evening I watched the Eurovision song contest (yearly tradition) while chatting with my family via Whatsapp.
On the 15th I was home alone cause A. had to work, and I spent the whole morning reading, and eating cake haha! Then there was an electricity cut, and the flat felt like an oven without fan or airco or water. Luckily it was repared after one hour. In the evening we had a nice dinner (kroketjes!) at Granada where the view was lovely! However, at 10pm it was still so hot we had to sit inside in the A/C! It was easily my hottest birthday ever :)

... Je moet zelf de slingers ophangen.

It made me so happy to see how all my Belgian friends were enjoying the nice weather in Belgium, and it inspired me to go outside and make the most of my weekend!
