New hot spot in town! In La Pomme sweet teeth can eat oriental sweets, ice cream, and more than 50 kinds of cake, including Malteser cake, Mars cake, cheesecake with blueberries, chocolate cake, ... Are you hungry yet? I already know where I will celebrate my birthday next year :)

A breath of fresh air

I felt it yesterday evening. Suddenly. The air smelt different: clean and fresh. The weather is changing and I had never thought I'd be happy I could wear my jeans jacket again in the evening. The hot, sticky, dry summer days seem to be over and autumn is around the corner (and very welcome). I look forward to  longer skirts, scarves, chilly evenings, carpets, etc. I love the sun and the summer but a little bit of change every now and then is good. Very good.

-I'm off today, 6th of October gave me a long weekend. I appreciate relaxing days at home more and more. 

-Yesterday we went to a wedding party of one of A.colleagues. The German-Egyptian couple seemed very happy and their appartment was lovely.

Senzo mall: the ideal location to forget you're in a third world muslim country. Enter Mc. Donalds, nice coffee shops, and European or American brands. My favorite is Spinneys, the biggest supermarket in Hurghada where I love to walk around very slowly :) My partner in crime C. and I always feel very relaxed and re-energized after an afternoon at Senzos <3

Week-end

My favorite moment of the day (so to speak): around 5pm, the sun is going down behind the mountains, and the bus comes to take me home from work. On Thursday it's even more nice as that means the weekend begins!
