TGIF

 Felt a bit like Cuba: the car of the taxi driver must have been more than 50 years old. It was still driving though... slowly.

 Maybe I go back next week to buy the sweater with the awesome zipper...surprise!

 A. picked us up at Spinneys and we ate pizza together. Inside this time, as there was too much wind outside.

 C.'s husband was in Cairo so we made it extra romantic haha.

Groceries

When you go to Dahar, down-town, you can buy really fresh chicken, and get served by a woman in a burka in little shops full of washing powder, soda, candy, and more. Always an experience.

Safaga

It was the first time in almost 2 months that A. and I spent a day off together. I woke up early to clean the appartment, and we head off to Safaga (ca. 60 km from Hurghada) to get some insurance papers. It made me so happy to be in a completely new city, and I enjoyed to see things for the first time. Like I was looking with different eyes. Safaga is much calmer than Hurghada, and it seems more simple and less dirty. Even though we had connections in the office who had promised everything was ready, we were told to come back later (after waiting more than one hour)... To forget the disappointment we made a stop at La Pomme for cake and tea, cannot fault with that :)

Give us a break!

The moment I look forward to every working day: lunch break. It is a 10 min walk from my office... time to clear my mind, and the food is always very nice. Sometimes, when my boss is in the office and I don't have time for lunch, I take a break at 3.30 for coffee, tea, sandwiches, and cake. Unlike my boss and some of my colleagues, I cannot work 8 hours straight. I enjoy life too much to be such a workaholic haha. But really, if you work efficiently, why shouldn't you take time to relax as well. It's all about balance, isn't it?
